Learning Gate After School Clubs

Guitar – Monday

GUITAR A 3:00 – 3:30PM – LIMIT 4 STUDENTS
GUITAR B 3:30 – 4:00PM – LIMIT 4 STUDENTS
GUITAR C 4:00 – 4:45PM – LIMIT 8 STUDENTS

Guitar Club is for students 3rd grade and older.  Students will learn to hold the guitar, basic strumming, the names of the strings, how to tune their guitars and beginning chords.

Musical Theatre – Wednesday

2:35 – 3:35PM K – 2ND

Do you love to act? Do you love to sing? Come learn what it takes to put together a theatre production. We will be doing scenes, singing, blocking and acting techniques, while putting together a final production for performance at the end of the semester (December and May).

Beginning Piano – Thursday

2:45 – 3:15PM

Come learn the basics of rhythm, finger numbers for keyboard and how to figure out where the notes are. Walk away playing the first day with pieces to take home and practice. This class is geared for K – 2nd grades.

Piano A & B – Thursday

PIANO A 3:15 – 4:00PM
PIANO B 4:00 – 4:45PM

This class is for returning and intermediate students, as well as beginners 3rd grade and higher. Come learn the basics of rhythm, finger numbers for keyboard and how to figure out where the notes are. Walk away playing the first day with pieces to take home and practice.

Beginning Ukuleles – Friday

Ukulele A 2:35 – 3:15PM
Ukulele B 3:30 – 4:15PM

Students who are younger (K-2nd) and would like to learn guitar are encouraged to learn this instrument first. Students will learn how to hold the instrument, strum, basic chords and songs.

Rock Band – Friday

ROCK BAND GROUP A 3:15 – 4:00PM
ROCK BAND GROUP B 4:00 – 4:45PM

What makes a good song? We are planning to start working with Groups of 5 that are interested in putting a Rock Band together. Each group will be made up of a keyboard player, a guitar player, a bass player, a drummer and a singer. A 6th band member may be added for a 2nd guitar in select groups. They will learn to play cover tunes and older groups will possibly be able to do some songwriting as well. An audition is required for this. If there are students that already know that they would like to be in a group together, please indicate that at the time of Registration.

Tuition and Fees

To secure your spot, please read our Group Pricing Information and Policies and
fill out the Group Registration Form. You can send in the
registration form and a check made out to Grosso Music and Fine Arts
with your child. There may be a book fee,
depending on your class choice, typically less than $20. Some
instruments may also be rented for a small cost. Please contact Keri to let her
know if you need an instrument, at the time of Registration.
