Our Elementary Group is divided into three Learning Pods with a maximum of six students each.  The pods are arranged around student’s ELA levels, which will be determined after meeting with our instructors and student/parent meeting. We work with students to develop their phonetic awareness to beginning/emergent readers and more advanced readers who are focused on developing their comprehension strategies.

Each pod will receive instruction in Reading, Writing and Math each day.

Students will also receive weekly instruction in Science and History.

Each week, they will also have a Music Elective.  Additional electives are also available for additional fees.  Private lesson instruction is also available through our music program and may be completed during the school time for some students, as time allows.

Elementary meets Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00am – 12:45pm.  We begin with a Bible time/devotion to start each day before rotating through the learning pods.  It is important that students come prepared to learn.  That means, that we ask students to read for thirty minutes each day at home.  This is a great way for students to build a love of reading and also can be used as an opportunity for you to hear how your child is developing.

Our curriculum is largely Sonlight Curriculum, with infused learning from the experience of our teachers, based on the needs of each learning pod.  For math, we use Marshall Cavendish’s Singapore Math curriculum.
